US expected to not extend USMCA, starting a decade-long countdown for trade pact

Trade shannagicans continue to plague Trump as he sours on a deal his own previous administration made, showcasing a deep lack of understanding. Trump has come out and stated his desire not to extend a 32-year-old free trade zone between the US, Canada, and Mexico, leaving all parties to return to the negotiation table. Past negotiations have proved fruitless, with US tariffs still affecting Canada. If there is a broader plan the administration has, it's unbeknownst not only to Canada & Mexico, but to onlookers as well.
