    Trump's politicization of federal funding expands beyond infrastructure withholdings to disaster withholdings as well. As states faced record-breaking snowfall this past winter, Trump overrode recommendations from his own agencies to deny funding to help with the fallout. Long gone are the days of consistent federal funding, now replaced with having to kiss up to Trump to ensure your state has access to it's congressianly appropriated funding.
