If Trump is this comfortable only six months into his second administration, I cannot fathom the extent he will go to as he continues to consolidate power.

Analysis: The time passed long ago when the internet and social media reached a tipping point where they affect the daily life of almost every American. With that point reached, it’s not unbelievable to see why it may be time to reassess internet and social media laws that restrict or put greater scrutiny on corporations. What’s left to be seen is whether states use this greater scrutiny to actually benefit the public, or create an internet that is worse off in the name of protection.
Analysis: In a time when natural disasters are becoming increasingly common, we need better investment from both local and national officials. Can we confidently say we have that on top of mind right now? With national discussions being around cost-savings and cutting programs, how far can we cut before more disasters like this hit, with far fewer warnings and support?
