- As the world becomes more uncertain new age defense technologies surge. Drones, cyber warfare, and more are all ramping up speed on both a government and private sector level.

- China continues to run circles around the U.S. in terms of cybersecurity. Over the past decade, there has been consistent infiltration of U.S. government authorities’ cyber systems leading to critical information and more importantly, critical U.S. infrastructure being compromised. The severity of the hacking may only yet be known to a minor degree. In a worst-case scenario, U.S. infrastructure may be so compromised that if a conflict broke out between the U.S. and China, China may have the ability to disrupt or even destroy/shut-down U.S. infrastructure like power plants, water treatment facilities, and more.
- The last time there was a trade war with China, Chinese companies simply sidestepped the tariffs and passed any additional cost over to the consumer. With the incoming Trump administration, they are priming to do it again. How Trump handles these well-known sidesteps is yet unknown.
